4500 sqm of buildings by our president Dr. L. Bellini (Master Degree in
Industrial Chemistry in the authoritative University of Bologna - Italy)
after he dismissed from the greatest company in photography.
After the loss of their beloved father, the company is now ruled by
his two sons Stefano and Michele Bellini (Stefano, who is M.D. in Chemical
Engineering, as a technical manager, and Michele as an administration and
sales manager). At the beginning FOTOCHIMICA was selling with the trade names of
FILMECCANICA (for the continues film processors, silver recovery units and
recycling units) and FILMCHIMICA (for motion-pictures and photographic
chemicals). Those companies were the leading suppliers of the booming motion
picture industry in Rome. Since that time FOTOCHIMICA have been growing
every year and now is steady present in almost every market. Its solid
asset had been awarded also by PHOTOKINA trade fair organization in 1992,
when, together with only 19 companies in the world, we were showing in
Cologne-Germany for the 10th consecutive time (20 years period) and again
in 2004 during the last show. We are member of Photo Marketing Ass.
International-USA since 20 years and we are always present at
PHOTOKINA-Germany, PMA-USA and in many other exhibitions around the world
in cooperation with our distributors.
We are proudly supplier of the biggest labs in the world and the
most important companies in photography and motion picture market. Between
all we can mention the Italian Air Force, Technicolor, De Luxe, Olivetti
and others. Our Company is located in the center of Italy
in Perugia, the main town of Umbria region, 2 hours drive north
of Rome and 1 hour drive south of Florence. Our production is composed by the
full range of chemicals for photographic processing, from amateur
photography to professional, motion picture and special
